Have a 2000 Durango with a 4.7 motor. Does anyone w/4.7, have a problem with the engine rpm's surging.?

the engine rpm's go up and down at idle or while driving, but seems to be more at idle. this does not happen all the time though. it only goes up abut 3-400 rpm's at a time.
