My BFF Likes My Enemy!!!!!!?

My bff (lets call her ali) is in LOVE with this jerk who made my life heck last year. This kid calls me names, belittles me, and puts his hand to my face and tells me to shut up! The kid is a total teachers pet (the teacher would buy him magazines) and if it wasn't enough for him to tell me how stupid I am he had to go tell the teacher that I was talking or didn't start my homework or was reading i mean for gosh sakes what a baby and tattletale. Also he called me a monster and tried to turn the cl period on me he even went so far as to build what he called a fortress made of books to keep the monster (me) out of sight I mean he's acting like he's a five year old playing wizards. He made me cry so much and I even hate him so much as to have dreams of hitting him with a bus... and I've told Ali all this and shes like well he's never been mean to me. It feels like total betrayal and shes gonna ask him out. I'm really tired of her liking him and I'm thinking if they do go out that I will stop talking to her...Am i being to dramatic I mean I try to see what she sees in him but I just cant get over all the crap he pulled. I know its her life but it hurts what should I do ignore it, not talk to her, i mean I'm in a real uncomfortable position any answers will be appreciated. Thanks!
